In an atmosphere of deep emotion, a modest and moving ceremony took place today at the Foundation: the handover of a donation from the family of Giorgos Gkilas and Konstantina Kokkali – a teaching piano for the students of the Kalogeropouleio Conservatoire.

This gift was made in memory of their daughter Angelikoula, who would have turned 25 years old today.

The grandparents and close friends of the family, with eyes full of tears, attended the simple ceremony prepared for the occasion. Piano student Georgianna Kalogeropoulou sang, accompanied by piano teacher Ms Kavvadia, a song written especially for this occasion by Mairy Chapsa – dedicated to Angelikoula.

Parents and children from the Foundation class added a note of joy to the event. The family’s gift gave many people of Corinth yet another opportunity to learn about the work being carried out at the Kalogeropouleio Foundation.

Angelikoula – all the little hands that touch these keys will surely be singing for you and the other little angels there in the garden of heaven. Sweets, flowers, children’s voices, songs, and hope.

Thank you…
