What does it mean to say “I like it” in a world that often dictates what you’re supposed to like?
The Foundation, in collaboration with the Koukida Bookshop, presents, on Saturday, 28 March at 17:30, the new children’s book by educator and author Stella Moysi, titled “I Like It” (iWrite Publications).
Through the story of Rikoko the little squirrel, the book tackles a subject we often overlook: the courage of one’s own opinion.
At a time when the need for acceptance leads to the flattening of personality, Rikoko comes to remind children and parents that authenticity is not a luxury, but a right.
In the author’s own words: “The goal is not to teach children to agree with us, but to give them the tools to stand by what they truly feel.”
