The President of  Fondation Kaloy, Ms Maria Christara, and Board Member Ms Fryni Panousi, accompanied by a student from the Foundation’s Painting Department, presented a painting created by the Foundation’s students to Ms Sofia Chiniadou-Kampani, Head of Cultural Affairs at the Presidency of the Hellenic Republic. This was the gift for President Pavlopoulos on the occasion of his visit to the Kalogeropouleio Foundation on 28 June.

The painting depicts Pegasus – the symbol of the city of Corinth – in many variations, each as imagined by a different child. With admiration for the children’s imagination and technique, and with warm words of praise for the young painters and their teacher, Mr Nikitas Kakoudakis, Ms Chiniadou-Kampani accepted the painting on behalf of the President and assured us that it would be personally delivered to him.
