Wednesday 24 June 2026, 20:00 – Forecourt of the Cathedral of the Apostle Paul, Corinth
With a sense of deep honour, emotion, and responsibility, the Youth Orchestra of Fondation Kaloy participates this year in the landmark events of ‘Pavleia 2026’, the annual celebrations surrounding the feast day of the Apostle Paul, which hold special significance for Corinth as the city where St Paul preached and founded his community.
Our young musicians will have the blessing and the highest honour of performing the work ‘The Hymn of Love’, based on the immortal words of Paul the Apostle to the Nations (1 Corinthians 13), set to music by Panagiotis Theodosiou, with the participation of two talented sopranos: Inga Balabanova and Evi Tsirtsi.
For our Foundation, participation in an institution that honours the spiritual beacon of our faith and culture marks a milestone in our artistic journey. The meeting of young creativity with the eternal words of the Apostle Paul on Love – the greatest of virtues – is for us both a duty and a source of inspiration.
We extend our warmest thanks to the Holy Metropolis and the organisers for this honourable invitation. We look forward to welcoming you all to share in this spirit of reverence and musical celebration.
The Pavleia celebrations hold international renown. The presence of the Foundation there confirms that its significant work is valued by the Metropolis of Corinth.
Your Eminence, thank you.
Maria Christara – President, Fondation Kaloy
