“Rhythms of Architecture, Musical Rhythms, and Rhythms from Young Hearts”
A European cultural fusion in Ancient Corinth.

The series of music events taking place in the summer of 2026 at the Archaeological Site of Ancient Corinth constitutes a distinctive cultural undertaking, in which the rhythms of ancient architecture meet the musical rhythms of contemporary European creativity.

This is a living fusion of space and sound, where the temples, monuments, and columns of Ancient Corinth do not simply serve as a backdrop, but act as active participants in the musical act itself. The architectural “rhythm” of the site meets musical rhythmic expression, creating an experience that is aesthetic, educational, and deeply experiential.

At the heart of the programme is the participation of young musical ensembles from Europe and Greece, who bring their own artistic identity and reinforce the intercultural character of the undertaking. Their presence gives the series a clear European stamp of education, collaboration, and artistic exchange.

Events in the Series

5 June 2026 – Temple of Octavia
The opening, featuring the Youth Orchestra of the Albert Einstein Music School of Böblingen, marks the meeting of youthful European musical energy with the architectural rhythm of the monument.

5 July 2026 – Courtyard of the Archaeological Museum of Ancient Corinth
Duo Sonoma presents a programme of musical sensitivity and contemporary expression, in a space where archaeological memory converses with contemporary sound.
As part of the Austrian-Greek Summer.

5 September 2026 – Temple of Apollo
The culmination of the series, featuring the Merano Academy – Amaté from Northern Italy and the Foundation’s Youth Orchestra, in a major gathering of youthful creativity and collective musical education with Opera. “An Evening of Opera.”

This series is not merely a sequence of concerts, but a pedagogical and cultural proposal, in which the architectural memory of the site is activated through music and transformed into an experience of understanding and participation.

Ancient Corinth thus emerges as a meeting point for European cultural currents, where the rhythms of stone, the rhythms of music, and the rhythms from young hearts coexist in a unified aesthetic and spiritual narrative. They sing to us of Life.
