The recent ‘Festival of Flutes’ from the class of our distinguished teacher and exceptional musician Stefanos Chatzianagnostou was far more than a student showcase – it was a genuine outpouring of the soul, and a compelling demonstration of what the right guidance can achieve.

Stefanos Chatzianagnostou is a versatile and gifted soloist, well known throughout Greece for his participation in the celebrated orchestra of Stavros Xarchakos, and a member of the Alcedo folk band and other distinguished ensembles with which he graces major theatre stages and concert halls in Greece and abroad. He brings to his students something far greater than technique – he imparts the lived experience and artistic integrity of a master performer.

On the stage of the Foundation, his students unfolded their talent and did their teacher proud. Through a demanding and carefully prepared programme of duets, trios, and ensemble pieces, the young flautists demonstrated the highest standard of musical education they receive.

The performance revealed the depth of work done in the classroom, with moments that stood out for the purity of tone, rhythmic precision, and articulation. What impressed most, however, was the remarkable musicality and stage maturity shown by students at every level – from the most experienced to the youngest, who won the audience over with their seriousness – qualities rarely encountered at such ages.

Warmest congratulations to these talented and promising young musicians, and above all to Mr Stefanos Chatzianagnostou, whose example and teaching are shaping the musical future of our region. The people of the Foundation feel deeply proud.
